Japanese for Short Arse

I enjoyed my brief affair with picture editing last week so I've decided to occasionally make some cheeky Japanese lessons using photographs I have lying about. The lucky subject of this first lesson is a wee Japanese lad who works at the petrol station in the next town. The dedication to customer service in Japan is shown above. This is an unusually large car for my rural prefecture as most people are old farmers who drive rusting trucks. Needless to say I sat in my own car and enjoyed the plight of someone who is even shorter than my tiny Glaswegian self.

The first kanji is 背 which is your back/spine/height. The second is 低い which means short/low and the が acts as a subject marker. Easy peasy.
